How to increase the height in children

Normally, when the baby is 3-years-old (36 months) to 4 years old (48 months), monthly the child increases from 0.6 to 0.7 centimeters in height, the average yearly increase 7 to 7.5 centimeters in height. Currently, the baby with 89 centimeters in weight reached standard, but it has shortage of height, especially in the last year, the baby was just up to two centimeters.

The height development depends on many factors, including: nutrition accounted for 32 percent, 23 percent genetic factor, 20 percent physical exercise and other factors such as habitat, sleep, illness. You have to lead the baby go to hospital and add more mineral, especially, implementing the nutrition. You need to diverse diet for child and notice to the important nutrients to increase height as:
- The protein is very important for body growth. Foods are rich in protein such as: meat, fish, egg, milk, bean and shrimp.
- Calcium is an important mineral in bone (accounting for 99%), make strong bones and develop the height. Foods are high in calcium such as milk, fish, shrimp, crab especially milk with high calcium content and it is easily to absorb.
- Vitamin A is an important ingredient for growth, form the skeleton. Vitamin A is found in the liver of animals such as: fish, cow, pig, goat and milk, egg yolk, green vegetables, red or yellow fruit ripe such as carrot, papaya, ripe mango, orange and peach.
Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, increase in protein synthesis transporting calcium in blood. Vitamin D is in cod liver oil, milk, butter, cheese, egg, liver and shrimp, especially for children sunbathing daily for children will help skin synthesize vitamin D.
In addition to diet, you should help child to strengthen activities such as: running, playing and cycling.  You should for children sleep at night before 22 p.m for the body to secrete more growth hormone to help your baby increase the height.

You should also check your baby's health. In fact, if they suffer from infectious diseases such as diarrhea, respiratory disease, stomach disease and intestinal disease treating long or untimely also affect the growth of the baby.
